Being a Trustee is a walk in the park... in the dead of night, with no torch, trying not to step in dog poo.

But it doesn't have to be. There are too many myths about trusteeship which make the role harder than it needs to be, or stop good people from becoming Trustees.

This session will bust 10 of the most common myths about being a Trustee, including:

• It's only a couple of hours a month - yeah, right!
• The role stops when the meeting stops - if it does, you're doing it wrong.
• The Chair is the Final Boss - maybe if governance was a video game, but not in real life.
